Iggy Pop Don’t Stop

Iggy Pop is hitting the road again, kicking things off in the Windy City at the Salt Shed on March 4th—one of only two U.S. dates on the schedule. From there, he heads to Japan to headline PunkSpring 2025, with the Sex Pistols, Bad Religion, and Pennywise, plus one solo show.
After that, it’s across the UK and Europe, with stops at major venues and huge festivals—including Pohoda Festival in Slovakia and Way Out West in Sweden, where Josh Homme and Queens of the Stone Age are also on the bill. Could that mean a Post Pop Depression reunion? Time will tell.
And in the midst of it all, in July—between Colours of Ostrava in the Czech Republic and Smukfest in Denmark—he’s making a quick “Pop” back to the U.S. to headline the just-announced Project Pabst Festval in Portland, Oregon, alongside Devo, The Damned, and The Chats.
The tour wraps up in Brazil at The Town 2025, where Iggy will share the stage with Katy Perry, Green Day, and Mariah Carey. Yes, that Mariah Carey. What a world.

I know what you’re thinking: this has got to be Iggy’s last tour, right?
That’s what I’ve been telling the Mrs. every year since the Stooges reunion in 2012 as I book plane tickets. But if you need a push to seize this chance to witness a true legend live with your own eyes, don’t hesitate—this could be it.

Iggy’s live shows are legendary: he can still hypnotize an audience or send a crowd into a frenzy, commanding the stage like few ever have. His setlists pull from across his career, blending Stooges-era chaos with solo-era anthems. He reaches right into your soul—his stage presence now more refined, tempered by time, and carrying the weight of hard-earned experience. The raw chaos remains, but it’s sharpened and focused.
He’s often misunderstood, feared, or dismissed, yet at the same time revered and imitated—only to become one of the most respected names in music. They don’t make them like Iggy Pop anymore. In fact, they only made one: he was undoubtedly one of the highlights of last year’s No Values festival, backed by an all-star band that included Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, Joan As Police Woman, Pam Amsterdam, and jazz trombonist Corey D. King. You never really know who will be in Iggy’s band, but one thing’s certain—they’re always top-tier.

If there’s one thing in life I can highly recommend, it’s planning a vacation around an Iggy Pop concert. I can honestly say it changed my life. Check the tour dates, pick a place you’ve always wanted to visit—or somewhere you never thought you’d go—buy the concert ticket first, then the plane ticket. To hell with it. You only live once, and credit cards were made to be maxed out!
Trust me, hearing thousands of people belt out “La la la la lalalala” in unison in some faraway land is the kind of thing you’ll never forget.
