The festival will include a roster of composers, including Raven Chacon, the first Native American Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, and classical crossover composer Peter Vukmirovic Stevens, each bringing their unique artistic vision to the forefront.

Hailing from Fort Defiance, Arizona, Raven Chacon's pioneering work in both visual and sonic artistry has garnered international acclaim. Notably, Chacon made history in 2022 as the first Native American to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music for his groundbreaking composition, "Voiceless Mass." Several of his pieces, from solo instruments to orchestral works, will be performed.

In addition to his solo endeavors, Chacon performs in the group KILT with Bob Bellerue and Mesa Ritual with William Fowler Collins. In 2016, he was commissioned by the Kronos Quartet to compose a work for their Fifty For The Future project.

Meanwhile, Peter Vukmirovic Stevens, a resident of Paris since 2015, and known for his prowess in the classical crossover genre, infuses his music with the spirit of punk rock and blends concert music and sound art. Stevens will present his latest piano work, “Improvisations III,” at the festival, featuring graphic notation crafted by Constantin Rusu. San Sung Aum will take the stage to perform this new composition on Thursday, March 21.

Stevens’ 2022 album, S LENCE, for piano and recited poetry by the author-activist Penny Rimbaud In 1977, alongside Steve Ignorant co-founded the seminal anarchist punk band and art collective CRASS. This release is available through Caliban Sounds and One Little Independent Records.

Stevens also leads Ensemble Ex Materia, a quartet of composers and performers renowned for their boundary-pushing explorations of sound art and concert music. Their latest EP has garnered widespread critical acclaim, further solidifying their status as innovators in the field.

TUTTI Festival attendees can look forward to literary insights from Dr. Nan Nowik and writer-in-residence Hanif Abduraqqib, as well as dynamic dance performances by choreographers Ojeya Cruz Banks and Marion Ramírez.

Art and music enthusiasts are invited to join this vibrant festival of creativity and innovation.
